The CASS Laboratory or the CASSL is the newest addition to our facilities. Over the next few years we are converting an old conference space into a fully outfitted fabrication and manufacturing facility that will enable us to build customized components for a variety of autonomous systems. It also serves as our vehicle bay where we can perform maintenance or build new platforms.
A large netted facility to compliment the small net on the OU Research Campus is also currently being installed behind the CASSL that will measure ft by ft and will be 35 ft. high. We hope to use this as a flight practice field for aspiring drone operators and a systems test-bed for both OU researchers and the community at large.
This facility is located near Max Westheimer Airport on Industrial Boulevard, across the street from the Oklahoma Geological Survey.
